In Adrienne's own words...
In my 10 years as a certified trainer…there’s ONE BIG LESSON I have learned.
More intelligent dogs are better behaved.
A More intelligent dog takes commands easier
…and understands what you need from them.
Brain Training for Dogs is your ticket to a dream pet—here’s a little of what you’ll master:
Laura and I have both purchased and gone through numerous dog training courses over the years. Training a dog is an "art", and it requires patience. And it is true, there are a lot of "wanna-be" trainers out there. I know because I've purchased quite a few dog training courses over the years. After you've gone through or worked with a real dog trainer, you can spot these wanna-be trainers pretty quickly.
I also want to point out that you can't judge who's the best or a really good trainer based upon who's a better marketer. I see all kinds of ads out there for dog trainers from many trainers. I'm not suggesting they're not good, but instead am suggesting the amount of advertising one does doesn't mean they are good. You should always do your due diligence before selecting the trainer you'll follow to create the results you're after for your dog.
Excitedly, once you find that one trainer who can help you create the loving, well-mannered, and highly disciplined dog you desire, there's no looking back. This course is simply amazing! You won't be disappointed.
It's also one of the most popular dog training courses out there, and for good reason.
Why I Chose This Specific Course To Recommend...
There's a reason why I chose this specific dog training course... Adrienne knows her stuff! Not only is she currently a certified dog trainer, she's also a behavior consultant. What a powerful combination!
She holds dual certification in dog training. In 2010, after undergoing more than 200 hours of apprenticeship under a master dog trainer, she became certified by the Italian Association for Dog Trainers and Canine Consultants.
After teaching basic and advanced obedience classes in Missouri and spending the summer teaching Canine Musical Freestyle, she obtained certification by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA®) in the United States.
Adrienne is a force-free trainer, which I really like a lot, using scientifically based training methods focused on the rewarding world of positive reinforcement training. CCPDT requires her to continue her education, so she is often attending seminars to keep up-to-date with the latest dog training and behavior-modification trends.
Recently she contributed a chapter to the book Puppy Socialization: An Insider’s Guide to Dog Behavioral Fitness, by Caryl Wolff, which includes contributions from renowned experts Dr. Ian Dunbar, Dr. Carmen Battaglia, Dr. Ed Bailey, Dr. Michael Fox, and Peter and Nancy Vollmer.
Like I said, she knows her stuff. Here, let me give you a sampling of her training...

You'll Need Treats For Training Your Dog!
Part of "positive reinforcement" is giving your dog a treat when it does what you want it to do. We've tried many treats with Bella of which practically all of them she snubbed her noise at... not only didn't they excite her at all, she simply didn't like them and wouldn't eat them!
Then one day when I was having some beef jerky. She went bonkers for it. I had a bag of it so I tested it by having her go from sit to lay to sit to lay. The beef jerky as a positive reinforcement was perfect!
But beef jerky for people can be a bit expensive for training. Making a long story short, here's the beef jerky I buy now for training Bella... Full Moon All Natural Essentials Beef Jerky Tenders.
